ZERO-COMPROMISE, PRECISION-ENGINEERED FIRE PROTECTION PUMPS
Our Fire Pumps are specifically designed for the very particular needs of fire protection and are approved by major fire protection bodies around the world.
Fire pumps are installed for the protection of life and therefore offer no room for compromise when it comes to their design, engineering, manufacture, installation and maintenance. We were the first company to achieve fire pump approval by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and now we’re also FM Multi-Stage Multi Outlet (MSMO) approved and with maintenance in accordance with various international standards, such as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 20, we have more highly-regulated and approved fire pump listed equipment in use worldwide than any other manufacturer.
When you choose an SPP fire pump package you’ll be rest assured that you’ve selected the best fire-pump package for your application, installation and the people and property it’s governed to protect.

SPP PUMPS: FIRE WATER PUMP SOLUTIONS
Our Industrial Fire and Energy Division are dedicated to solving demanding fluid handling challenges for diverse applications worldwide, and they call upon over a century of SPP fire pump knowledge and experience.
SPP Fire Water pump packages are delivered ready for installation, incorporating pumps, drivers, control systems, and pipework in one single container. Designed, manufactured, and factory-tested, their pre-assembly eliminates potential on-site coordination problems and ensures that all our Fire Water Pump packages are ready for operation as soon as you receive them.
Every completed pump house is engineered and tailored to meet the required customer specifications , and its insulated enclosures are designed to minimise operating noise levels. Built to reduce your time and labour costs, all you’ll need when you receive your SPP Pumps Fire Water Pump Package is a connection to water and power—it’s as simple as that.
This reliable design is the most common centrifugal pump arrangement. With its horizontal shaft, overhung impeller and bearing arrangement it benefits from being compact, allowing us to offer tailored pumping solutions to almost any space.
Its motor slide rails and back pull-out design allow swift access for ease of maintenance and its duties range from 200 USgpm to 1,500 USgpm for electric or diesel drives, providing excellent opportunities to tailor our solution to your needs.

Multi-stage pumps are designed to transfer clean liquids through several impellers that are built into a series of pumps, as opposed to one. They are typically useful in high head installations that require a heavy-duty long-life pump. Available horizontally or vertically in high-pressure applications they are primarily useful for energy saving and varying ranges of flow/head circumstances.
Multistage pumps boast a variety of construction material options and their generously rated bearings meet the demands of both water and industrial applications. CFD-tuned hydraulics and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques optimise efficiencies and minimise running costs, whilst rigid, durable and fabricated steel baseplates prevent distortion.
An SPP multi-stage, multi-outlet, pump system is installed within the fire system of The Shard in London, United Kingdom. The featured case study is exemplary of our many multi-stage pump installations.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
- Pressure Boosting
- High-Pressure Shower/Spray (Sprinklers or Fire Fighting)
- Heating/Cooling Conditioning
- Reverse Osmosis
- Mine Dewatering
- Snow Making
- Boiler Feed
- Desuperheater Feed
Only available in Asian markets. Our range of Vertical Multistage Inline pumps provide a large variety of applications for excellent flexibility and are manufactured to the highest industry standard testing at our ISO ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 approved sites. Our pumps are capable of efficiently transferring liquids of low viscosity, non-inflammable and non-explosive, not containing solid particles or fibres.

Our split case centrifugal pumps can feature a single double suction or two single suction impellers supported between bearings. The casing is split axially, with opposing suction and discharge flanges to make maintenance simple.
With balanced bearings and a robust overall design, it’s not uncommon to find SPP horizontal split case pumps still in use after over 70 years of service, a testament to our quality processes.
Suitable for electric or diesel drives, our split case pump duties range between 200 USgpm and 5,000 USgpm, providing excellent opportunities to tailor our solution to your needs. We are proud to also boast the largest UL-listed horizontal fire pump to date – with a capacity of 8,000 USgpm.
