BACKGROUND
This project formed part of a wider scheme for a major operator, which aims to produce low-carbon products such as hydrogen and renewable diesel. As a result of this initiative, the plant will reduce its production of traditional fuels by 55% by 2030 and will provide low-carbon fuels to help meet the demands of the transport sector. The Rodelta range of API610 pumps are essential in this process and will help to avoid 2,800,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions yearly. This is equal to take more than 1 million European cars off the roads The facility is expected to start production in 2024 and will aid in achieving the Paris Agreement’s climate goals.
OBJECTIVE
The design and supply of several critical pumps with complex sealing and instrumentation requirements for utilisation on applications with difficult duty requirements.
