Plaquemines LNG serves as one of the largest LNG export facilities in the USA.

To provide jetty-mounted and main plant firewater pumps to the project with noise reduction and extreme weather protection as key factors.

SPP provided both the jetty-mounted and the main plant firewater pumps to the project, providing vital firewater to the facility as well as the ship berthing jetty in the event of an emergency.

The firewater pumps were provided in noise-proof enclosures to ensure quiet operation during their weekly tests, and to protect the packages from the extreme hurricane conditions present on the Gulf of Mexico.
