Job Description

The assembly of pumps with either an electric motor or diesel engine.

Responsibilities

  • Build bare shaft pumps to engineering drawings
  • Assemble diesel skid sets to engineering drawings and bill of materials listing
  • Assemble electric skid sets t engineering drawings and bill of materials listing
  • Raise any assembly issues with QA Engineer and Supervisor
  • Complete production data books
  • Effective communication with planners, vendors, peer group, test and supervisor/manager

Job Requirements

What do you need from me?

  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Proven ability to read engineering drawings
  • Self motivated, collaborative with a positive ‘can-do’ approach
  • Logical and structured
