Pump Efficiency Testing

On-site efficiency testing is offered primarily using thermodynamic test monitors. Power is still measured via a power analyser. Thermodynamic testing offers a more accurate assessment of actual pump performance and is therefore used for detailed pump system assessments where accurate validation of energy savings achieved is often a contractual requirement.

This method of testing is, to a certain extent, "intrusive" in that suction and discharge probes are inserted into the flow via ½ BSP gate valve fittings. If these are not available they will be required as a system modification before testing can commence. This technique also provides a means of data collection for trending results. Fixed installation packages are available. Contact us for a quotation.
