Once the pump has been mapped to the system and is operating as close to BEP as is possible within the system, meaningful condition monitoring can take place. It is always preferable to take a "foot print" of the pump in known good condition as this can be used as a datum against which deterioration can be measured. Issues to be checked include:
Alignment | Physical condition |
Vibration | Gland leakage |
Thermal Imaging | Data logging |
