Transformer Oil Pumps Assembly and Test
Both new product supply and service overhaul pumps are assembled and tested in the purpose built assembly area. This assembly and test area is atmospherically controlled to ensure clean and constant atmospheric conditions. All cast and machined components are cleaned in ultrasonic baths prior to assembly. SPP's performance test rig incorporates fully calibrated instrumentation for testing pumps at 60ยบ C in transformer oil. The test console incorporates speed control through a frequency inverter for testing both 50Hz and 60Hz rated pumps.
SPP offer a full range of support services for both fixed and traction transformer oil pumps. These services range from individual pump overhaul and test, to full pump management programs covering entire fleet or field populations. Service analysis in support of extending the mean time between change-out, interchangeability and recommend holding of strategic stock can also be offered.
